The Black Diamond Racing Puck provides unprecedented versatility. The Puck is a disc shaped piece (like an ice hockey puck!) with the same construction as the Shelf. It is approximately 70mm in diameter and is designed to be used with the Pyramid Cones in several ways:
1. Direct Cone Attachment - the Puck is bolted directly to a Pyramid Cone ( threaded bolts supplied with Puck) and the Puck flat surface is placed against the equipment base with the Cone pointing downward.
2. Cone Cup - the Puck is placed on the shelf and the point of the Pyramid Cone sits in the countersunk thread hole.
3. Direct Equipment Attachment - The Puck may be bolted directly to the equipment. Contact us for details on appropriate fastening methods.
When used with the Pyramid Cones, the Puck provides about 75% of the performance of The Shelf so proves to be a cost effective system. Supplied with studs to allow attachment to Pyramid Cones.
