Neat Momentum 4i Speaker Pair
The Momentum 4i is a full range 2.5-way iso-baric floorstanding design which uses four drive units in each enclosure. Iso-baric loading is a familiar feature on Neat loudspeakers, this being our favoured system for delivering exemplary bass performance. Standard finishes are oak, maple, cherry and rosenut, though other finishes are available to special order.
The iso-baric principle is exploited in quite a radical way in the design of the Momentum 4i, which features two 6.5″ bass drive units in an integral subwoofer arrangement (this part of the system is hidden from view). An ‘Ultimatum’ type bass/midrange main driver then handles frequencies up to the crossover point, where the latest version of our ‘NMT’ inverted titanium dome tweeter, with its extended HF response, takes over.

Neat Elite SX Speaker Pair
The ELITE SX delivers genuine audio performance from a discreet and attractive enclosure by means of unorthodox thinking and the ingenious implementation of some unusual ideas. Standard finishes are oak, maple, cherry, walnut, rosenut and black ash.
Unlike most bass reflex designs, the ELITE SX incorporates an innovative staggered port tuning design. This carefully judged system delivers a very convincing full-bodied bass performance, far more impressive than might be expected for such a small enclosure. The cabinet is raised above a plinth of solid slate, chosen for its superior bass control and midrange precision.

The main drive unit is the latest version of that used in the upmarket Ultimatum range; a 6.5” doped paper cone with a ferrite magnet assembly and a fixed aluminium phase plug to enable smooth integration with the tweeter. The tweeter used in the SX is a soft-fabric dome type with internal damping and a non-resonant chamber. The choice of tweeter is critical, because the tweeter lends the whole speaker its essential character and integrity. In this context, the tweeter’s strengths of superb dynamic contrast and accurate tonal colour are well matched to those of the main drive unit.
As with all Neat loudspeakers, the crossover is the result of painstaking development. We prefer to judge all aspects of tuning & voicing by ear, rather than referring to measurements. The crossover in the Elite SX is a simple, hard-wired 3–element type. Low-loss air-core inductors are employed, as well as high-grade polypropylene capacitors. All crossover components are specified to be within very tight tolerances in order to ensure excellent pair matching.

The PETITE SX is the latest development of a classic loudspeaker which began life in 1989. A small two-way bass reflex design, it is capable of exceptional bass extension and drive, and a remarkable presentation of all types of music. The choice of tweeter is critical, because the tweeter lends the whole speaker its essential character and integrity. In this context, the tweeter’s strengths of superb dynamic contrast and accurate tonal colour are well matched to those of the main drive unit.
The enclosure is rigidly constructed from MDF and is tuned by a rear firing reflex port. The internal crossover network uses highest quality close-tolerance components and all connections are soldered. Bi-wire connectors are provided, and further performance gains can be made with bi-amplified operation. The Petite is intended for placement on rigid stands and can be used close to walls or in free space.

Neat Motive 1 Speaker Pair
Although this is the taller of the two floorstanders in the Motive range, the Motive 1 is nevertheless a compact and elegant model. It will blend discreetly into your living room whilst its performance gives little away to larger and more expensive models.
This loudspeaker uses a two and half-way configuration where the lower unit reproduces bass to underpin the full-range bass-mid driver. The bass reflex port is fitted to the bottom panel of the cabinet and is vented through an outlet in the stylishly sculpted MDF plinth. Shahinian Obelisk Speaker Pair
The OBELISK is the first loudspeaker designed and produced in 1977. At the time, its shape and acoustical disposition were considered radical. Today it is positively conservative compared to what has come and gone. It was kind of a “first,” but its durability over the years is not due to novelty as much as its absolute performing superiority. Today's OBELISK could not have been built in 1977. It is still the only genuine poly/omnidirectional loudspeaker on the market. (If you believe any planar loudspeaker is omnidirectional, just walk between a pair, and listen to the music drop.) Let's remember that any sound in the universe has a polyradial trajectory away from its point of source; not direct, axial. Does it not seem reasonable to attempt duplicating reality? The OBELISK docs; and rather succeeds. For its size and price, its actual response is nothing short of remarkable; it performs best when out in the open, away from walls and corners. Room placement/storage is facilitated as it is fitted with four twin-wheel casters suitable for carpeted or hard floors. It recreates space . . . and possesses a sense of scale. The ARC represents the very essence of our design philosophy. A refined reduction of the Citation 13 which I (Richard) designed in 1970 at Harman-Kardon, it is the synthesis of 30 years of investigation into loudspeaker geometry. PMC’s research into driver design has again produced dramatic results with the development of a new bass driver specifically engineered for the PB1 . The blend of ultra stiff lightweight cone and huge magnet assembly produces a highly potent device. The combination of two units working in tandem within a newly developed ATL makes for a clean, fast and exceptionally extended bass response.
Though substantially built, the PB1 offers an easy load and is therefore easily matched with a wide range of high quality amplifiers. This ease of drive is readily apparent on audition, the response remaining even and smooth throughout. Seamlessly integrating the high, mid and bass drivers is a hand built, 31 element, 24dB per octave crossover network.
