Well Tempered Lab Amadeus
The Well Tempered Amadeus range of turntables are designed and built with one goal in mind; maximum enjoyment from your analogue record collection. Our unique designs, most of which are patent registered let nothing stand in the way of you and your music. Our approach, which may on the face of it may seem simplistic is in fact the reverse and has taken countless hours of research and thinking outside the square. For instance, while many manufacturers labour endlessly to design the perfect tonearm bearing, we just eliminate it!
Our unique tone arm features a fully internally damped aluminium tube and a precision made golf ball suspended in silicone fluid for perfect damping. Our acrylic platter spins in a Zero clearance bearing rather like a round peg in a square hole, coupled with our unrivalled 0.004mm polyester thread belt, ensuring vanishingly low wow & flutter figures; in fact the lowest we have ever measured. Your cartridge will get the ride of its life!

Cambridge Audio Azur 640P-B Phone Preamplifier
The 640P phono pre-amplifier (sometimes known as a phono stage) also uses superior amplification circuitry for its MM and MC stages to provide the lowest possible distortion and noise. In addition, the flagship model employs multi-parallel capacitors to achieve exceptional RIAA accuracy of only 0.3dB up to 50kHz and features a defeatable subsonic filter.
The Azur 640P phono pre-amplifier employs a comprehensively specified Moving Magnet stage, as well as the higher gain needed for compatibility with high-end Moving Coil (MC) cartridges. This raft of technologies combines to offer a hugely dynamic, involving and open sound. The 640P features the now customary Azur acoustically damped steel chassis and a robust anodised aluminium front plate.

PS Audio GCPH Phono Preamplifier
The GCPH is built around the same design philosophy all PS phono preamplifiers have enjoyed over the last 30 years: a passive RIAA curve and fully discrete class A gain stages. It is our finest work to date and should again set the standard for standalone phono amplification for many years to come.
We’ve also managed to make some serious improvements to our original design techniques in the GCPH, by adding a dual mono, balanced signal path and dual mono power supplies. Separating the signal paths and the power supplies into, essentially, mono paths adds a wonderful level of separation in the audio chain and helps lower the noise to nearly imperceptible levels. This is truly a state-of-the-art phono preamplifier that can be used as an add on to your preamplifier or all by itself feeding your power amplifier directly!

Digital Stylus Force Gauge
This gauge is identical (non branded) to the Well Tempered labs gauge which retails for $299.00. It comes with a calibration weight and a funky little case. We tested several Linn Arms which had been correctly set up to track at 1.75 grams only to find this gauge revealed they were tracking up to .6 grams out. This reduces the performance and longevity of any cartridge significantly. The Rega RB-300 arm we tested produced a reading that was even further out. (reading 1.5g actual 1.9). This is huge!!
Dialing in your correct tracking force is absolutely essential for optimal record playback. If you miss on the heavy side, your sound becomes thick and sluggish. Miss on the light side, and your cartridge is more likely to mistrack and the sound will be light and anemic. This gauge will accurately read your tracking force within .001 grams. So stop messing with those mechanical stylus balances that aren’t even accurate. This is one case where digital makes more sense when it comes to fine-tuning your analog.

Dynavector Te Kaitora Rua Low Output Cartridge
The original Te Kaitora cartridge was the result of collaboration between Dynavector Japan and Dynavector New Zealand. The Te Kaitora allowed analogue enthusiasts to embark on a voyage of discovery to the outer limits of vinyl reproduction.
The improved Te Kaitora Rua continues the journey by incorporating many of the newest features of its Dynavector stable-mates, the XV-1s and XX-2. The Te Kaitora Rua has even managed to improve on the original’s silk-like treble and openness.

Dynavector DV-XX2 mkII Low Output Cartridge
The DV XX-1 was the first cartridge to feature a “magnetic flux damper” (patent) and softened magnetism” (patent) processes that reject the magnetic fluctuation that is detrimental to a moving coil cartridges performance. The The DV XX-2 MKII retains the benefit of the flux damper but features the Alinco-5 magnet and the similar rigid construction to the Te Kaitora Rua.
Alnico magnets exhibit high magnetic flux density combining with a low coercive therefore magnetic resistance is lower than other magnetic types such as rare earth and ferrite, providing the exceptional stability of the XX-2 MKII output voltage. There is also the additional advantage of low magnetic and electrical resistance contributing to a discernable improvement in sound quality.

Dynavector DV-17D3 Low Output Cartridge
The main change to the new Dynavector 17D3 is an improvement in the design of the front yoke. This appears, on the surface, to be a small difference yet contributes to a greatly improved overall performance justifying a model number change. The new yoke improves focus in the magnetic circuit and in combination with the flux damping mechanism and softened magnetism (patent) gives accurate sonic qualities leading to a very natural sound. The change has also enabled a useful increase in output to 0.3mV.
The Dynavector Karat is notable for its gemstone cantilever. This 1.7mm long by 0.25mm diameter solid diamond cantilever has its 0.06 square mm stylus mounting hole precision cut by laser. The Micro Ridge Stylus of 0.06 square mm nude diamond is securely and accurately bonded to the cantilever.
The armature of 0.9mm square and 0.4mm thick is much smaller than normal, upon which are wound 60 turns per channel of 12 micron fine wire. 17D3 Karat Diamond is the first cartridge built using 'dispersion' theory. Its Micro-Ridge stylus and very short (1.7mm) solid diamond cantilever give a huge reduction in 'frequency dispersion', unmatched dynamics and a high frequency extension all the way up to 100kHz. The latest patented magnet circuit design increases the output to 0.3mV with crystal clear mid-range and treble even during the largest symphonic crescendos.

Dynavector DV-20XH High Output Cartridge
DV-20X has a solid aluminium-alloy body similar to the XX-2. This makes a rigid platform for the cartridge motor and aids secure fitting to the arm. The cantilever is a 6mm length hard aluminium pipe cantilever with a Micro-Ridge diamond stylus. The magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism along with powerful Neodymium magnet gives out the 20XH a healthy 2.8 mV output at a suitable impedance for most MM inputs. The 20XL has an output of 0.3 mV ideal for most MC phono stage.
Both versions have been made available to help users get the best result for their own circumstances. The high output model suits valve pre-amps, basic amplifiers that only offer MM or amplifiers with less accomplished MC sections. Using a high output can also be of benefit if you live in an area with high radio frequency interference. The low output version scores where a system is set up with a good quality MC amp input.

Dynavector DV-10X5 High Output Cartridge
The Dynavector 10X series High Output Moving Coil cartridge debuted in 1978 winning the prestigious Design and Engineering Award at the Chicago CES in both 1978 and 1981. The 10X series cartridges are also widely accepted as the benchmark in High Output moving coil cartridge at this price point and beyond.

FEATURES
Rega P3-24
The all new Rega P3 – 24
The inspiration for the design of the P3 – 24 did not come from an evolution of the last P3 2000 model. Rather it came from re visiting the virtues of the original planar 3 turntable. These virtues gave us our design brief:
· High performance.
· Outstanding musical sound performance for cost price.
· Rugged reliability
· High quality components
· A long life time
Most areas of the turntable have changed, let's start with the plinth.
The Plinth
The new plinth whilst being slim and attractive, offers high levels of rigidity by using phenolic resin laminates, with a high quality edging. It is a considerable improvement over the current P2.
High performance motor
The P3 - 24 uses the same very high quality low vibration motor, which is used in the P5 & 9 turntables. The clever controlling circuitry can be adjusted for phase angle of the motor coils resulting in very low vibration levels from the complete motor assembly.
This design change gives a considerable performance increase over the P3 2000.
The TT PSU first developed for the P7 turntable is a high quality outboard power supply; the TTPSU can be used as an affordable upgrade with the P3 - 24 turntable. Offering increased musical performance, by conditioning the electrical supply with a synthesised low distortion crystal controlled ac input. This also gives the added convenience of electronic speed change control.
Main bearing platter
The same high quality drive belt/main bearing and glass platter are carried over from the cast P3 2000.
RB301
The famous RB300 has been modified to improve production and give a higher musical sound performance. An improved vertical bearing housing has been used, which gives improved rigidity in the tonearms mounting, reducing the stresses in the main 13mm bearings. This assembly is topped off with the improved RB700 bias housing phono cable.
