Delivery Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

This Delivery Policy explains how Magenta Audio Pty Ltd (Magenta Audio, we, us or our) processes and delivers orders. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Delivery destinations

We deliver throughout Australia to serviceable residential and business addresses. Some large, heavy or high-value products cannot be delivered to a PO box or parcel locker. Remote locations may require a depot collection or an alternative carrier.

International delivery is available only by prior arrangement. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability, freight, insurance, duties and any import requirements. International customers are responsible for destination-country duties and taxes unless we agree otherwise in writing.

2. Processing and dispatch

Most in-stock items are dispatched using Australia Post, FedEx/TNT or another suitable specialist carrier within 1 business day after we accept the order and confirm payment. Orders placed on weekends or South Australian public holidays are normally processed on the next business day.

Verification, payment review, stock allocation, custom finishes, special orders, pre-orders and made-to-order products may take longer. We will provide an expected dispatch timeframe when reasonably available and notify you of a material delay.

3. Delivery charges

Delivery charges are shown at checkout or included in your quotation before you commit to the purchase. Charges depend on the destination, size, weight, value, insurance and service selected. Any free-delivery offer applies only where expressly stated and is subject to the conditions of that offer. Australian free-delivery promotions do not automatically apply to international orders.

4. Delivery estimates and delays

Delivery timeframes supplied by us or a carrier are estimates unless we expressly agree to a fixed delivery date. Metro, regional and remote delivery times vary. Events outside reasonable control—such as severe weather, transport disruption, carrier congestion or supply-chain delays—may affect delivery.

We will take reasonable steps to deliver within the agreed timeframe or, if none was agreed, within a reasonable time. If a material delay occurs, contact us. We will investigate and keep you informed. If we cannot supply within an agreed or reasonable time, we will discuss an appropriate solution, which may include cancellation and a refund where required by the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Tracking and delivery

Where tracking is available, we will send tracking details to the email or phone number supplied with the order. High-value goods may require a signature, identification, appointment or delivery to a secure address. Do not authorise unattended delivery unless you are satisfied the location is safe.

We are responsible for the goods until they are delivered to the address you supplied, collected by you or your authorised representative, or left in accordance with your express delivery authority. Title passes as described in our Terms and Conditions.

6. Address accuracy and unsuccessful delivery

Please check the recipient name, address, postcode, phone number and access instructions before submitting your order. Contact us immediately if anything is incorrect.

If delivery fails because the address supplied was incorrect, access was unavailable or no authorised person accepted a signature-required delivery, reasonable redelivery or address-correction charges may apply. We will not charge these costs where the failure resulted from our error or the carrier’s error.

7. Split deliveries and special handling

We may dispatch an order in more than one shipment where items have different availability or handling requirements. We will not impose an additional delivery charge without your agreement. Fragile, oversized or very high-value equipment may require specialist freight, delivery by appointment or collection from a depot.

8. Lost, damaged, incorrect or missing deliveries

Inspect your delivery as soon as practical. If packaging or goods appear damaged, photograph the packaging and item and contact us promptly. If an item is missing, incorrect or tracking shows delivery but you have not received it, contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.

Prompt notice helps preserve evidence and speed up a carrier claim, but it does not remove or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, missing or lost in transit, we will provide the remedy required by law and arrange or reimburse reasonable return costs where applicable.

9. Pre-orders, backorders and special orders

Estimated arrival dates for pre-orders, backorders and special orders are based on supplier information and may change. We will notify you of a material change where reasonably possible. If we cannot supply within an agreed or reasonable time, your cancellation and refund rights are described in our Terms and Conditions and the Australian Consumer Law.
