Canor Verto D3 Tube DAC, Performance Line
The Verto D3 is a high-end tube-based output, discrete digital-to-analog converter with a full dual-mono architecture.
Highlights
01 The fully balanced output stage with four E88CC tubes operating in pure Class A breathes unexpected dynamics and naturalness into digital recordings.
02 The dual-mono discrete and fully balanced DAC architecture features galvanically isolated digital inputs, ensuring precise channel separation.
03 The variable output allows the DAC to be connected directly to a power amplifier, eliminating the need for a separate preamplifier in the audio chain.
Features

Independent channel discrete device architecture
Verto D3 model features a dual-mono configuration of ESS Sabre ES9039 converters to achieve maximum dynamic range and ultra-low noise. The entire signal is fully discrete, eliminating operational amplifiers to ensure absolute integrity and the natural character of the reproduced sound.

Analogue output stage built around four vacuum tubes
The uniqueness of the device lies in its analogue output, which consists of four E88CC tubes connected in pure class A. This fully symmetrical solution gives the digital signal an organic texture and depth, which is complemented by premium film capacitors.

Fixed and variable output option
The Verto D3 offers maximum flexibility thanks to a combination of fixed and variable analogue outputs. The variable output allows the DAC to be connected directly to a power amplifier or active speakers, eliminating the need for a separate preamplifier in the audio chain.

Pure digital signal path through galvanic isolation
Galvanic isolation on USB, AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical inputs helps block noise and interference from source devices, maintaining a clean and stable digital signal path, which is crucial for achieving maximum D/A conversion accuracy.

Intuitive experience and perfect readability
The best of both worlds thanks to the combination of touch and matrix display. While the touch interface ensures seamless interaction with the device, the matrix display guarantees perfect readability of all key information from any distance.

Custom designed "Optimal Transient" digital filter
This filter enables true Non-Oversampling Mode operation by bypassing internal oversampling, eliminating pre and post ringing. This approach prioritizes time domain accuracy and musical timing over frequency domain perfection.

Advanced power transformer insulation
The combination of vacuum impregnation and encapsulation in an antivibration compound effectively suppresses any vibrations and mechanical hum of the transformer. Thanks to its placement in a solid steel housing, the device gains precise electromagnetic shielding, which directly contributes to improving the signal-to-noise ratio.

CMT™ technology
The Verto D3 utilizes Canor's advanced CMT ™ technology (CANOR ® PCB Milling Technology) for optimal performance. The CMT™ technology allows them to get the dielectric loss factors (loss tangent) of PCB close to the loss factor of air. Thanks to this technology Canor managed to get repeatedly to the parameter level of the so-called “wire-to-wire connections“.
Product features
- The Verto D3 supports playback in PCM format up to 768 kHz sampling rate and for DSD format up to Native DSD512.
- A powerful multi-core XMOS microcontroller with an advanced Multi-Core RISC architecture processes the signal from the digital inputs.
- The distinctive sonic signature of this device stems entirely from its all-tube output stage. An uncompromising configuration of four E88CC tubes forms the core of the differential amplification, delivering a pure and natural audio performance.
- The touchscreen integrated into the control knob provides easy, intuitive access to all device functions and settings.
- The massive machined control knob uses a pair of precision bearings for smooth operation.
- Combining aluminum and steel, the chassis delivers both durability and a refined appearance.
- The Verto D3 supports firmware update via USB cable.
