The HSE Preamp Masterline 8 (ML-8) represents the pinnacle of Audio Engineering, shown here on its antivibration support stand.
Engineered for a life expectancy of at least 30 years, only the highest quality handmade Swiss components are utilized.
12 HSE discrete Class A Gain-stage and 2 Zero-ohm Class A ultra-low noise head-amps guarantee best possible audio performance. The audio path is fully balanced, discrete and high voltage.
The ML-8 case is milled from aluminum, glass-bead blasted, anodized, featuring a 20 mm thick front plate and several 24-carat hard-gold-plated parts. Each device undergoes a continuous two-week hardening and maturing process to achieve the finest sound quality.
All electronic components are hand-selected and matched to within a maximum variance of 0.1%.
To achieve uncompromising sound quality, only premium components from ELMA, Goldpoint, NKK, Panasonic, WIMA, Neutrik, and Schurter are used.
The audio signal passes through HSE's proprietary silver-Teflon wiring, while the external toroidal transformer features both static and magnetic shielding.
Optional features include an IR remote control with servo motor-driven ELMA rotary switches.
A customized DAC with AES, SPDIF, and USB inputs from WEISS is also available as an option.
