Ypsilon Phaethon-Neo Integrated Hybrid Amplifier
Phaethon neo integrated amplifier is a unique product in many aspects.
Based on the original design’s unique technologies , it elevates even further the performance by refining key details in its circuit.
Phaethon neo uses at the input a low noise double triode and in total is a three gain stage design. The power amplifier section uses a specially designed interstage transformer for coupling the driver and the output stages.
The output stage uses same polarity semiconductors for both phases in a “balanced single-ended ” fashion that manages to transmit to the listener magical performance with power to drive most speakers.
There are separate power supplies for the tube and output stage utilizing five power supply inductors for low noise filtering, two power supply transformers and four signal transformers.
All these were designed into unison, offering unmatched sound quality and making the platform of the integrated amplifier a clear advantage.
All functions are remote controlled and are visible through a high resolution TFT display with large characters so it can be read from across the room.
